Christian Science Fiction

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23

I started The Potters Clay Life site after much prayer and encouragement from friends, family and even perfect strangers. I believe that there is a need in the Christian community for authors and publishers who are bold enough to declare the truth of God’s creation while also being courageous enough to honestly explore the wonders of scientific discovery that challenge our preconceptions and imperfect human understanding of that creation.

The path to self-loathing nihilism, amoral materialism and hopeless abandonment is easy to follow in a world whose news feeds are filled with anger, wrath, malice, strivings, derisions, divisions and aimless hedonism. Stories appealing to the basest imaginations that offer little genuine optimism about life, creation or the future are in direct opposition to Paul’s admonishment to the Philippians. This is not a judgement meant to put down others. rather it is a call to rise above this and do better to overcome these patterns.

Paul put it like this:

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4:8
